Mitsubishi i-MiEV arrives in the US all grown up

The Mitsubishi i-MiEV electric car that will be arriving Stateside in 2011 will have grown a little - at least it is slightly larger, and will be styled more aggresively. Is that because we are worse drivers than those in Japan and Europe? We'll never know, but at least there is slightly more space for folks to sit inside, with Mitsubishi stating that the added length and girth “secure plenty of space for four adults and better meet the expectations of US consumers.” What are they calling us now, that we are a fat nation? We jest, but more importantly is the sub-$30,000 price tag after the federal EV tax credit and any incentives your state might offer when the i-MiEV hits the market next year.
