Microsoft To Announce Second Major WP7 Update At MWC?

The upcoming Windows Phone 7 update might not offer all the features that you were dreaming about, but that doesn't mean that Microsoft is done working on the operating system. Whispers are going around that the software giant is planning to release a second major update for WP7 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. Considering that Steve Ballmer will be delivering a keynote at the event, it's easy to believe that he will have something significant to announce regarding the mobile operating system. Word is that the update could offer users additional customization options for their phones and developers will be getting some new APIs and controls that will allow for more sophisticated apps in the future. Hopefully Microsoft confirms the update sooner rather than later.
