We've already established that Google's Cr-48 Chrome notebook isn't having an enjoyable first-day-at-the-office and now it seems to be getting worse. Users have been reporting that the performance of Adobe Flash that is already bundled with the notebook is really bad. Like the latest version of Google's Chrome web browser, Chrome OS comes with Adobe Flash right out of the box. Complaints from users include situations where they can't reliably view YouTube videos at resolutions higher than 480p and while Hulu seems to work, the experience isn't anything to shout about. Adobe has responded that it's aware of the issue and states that Flash 10.1 support remains a work in progress while promising that the engineers are working with Google to improve video performance. We can understand that the Cr-48 isn't the final product for consumers at the moment so hopefully by the time the final product is released, these little kinks will be ironed out.
